Michael A. Langella joined Stanton | Barton LLC as an Associate in August of 2017. Michael focuses his practice in the area of product liability and is involved in all phases of litigation including case strategy, discovery, trial, and appeal.

Prior to joining Stanton | Barton LLC, Michael worked as an associate in the St. Louis office of a mid-sized defense firm where he practiced primarily in the area of municipal litigation including premises liability and defense of 42 U.S.C. §1983 lawsuits. Michael also has extensive experience related to nursing home litigation, insurance coverage, transportation defense, construction litigation, landlord/tenant litigation, claims for violation of Missouri Sunshine Law, and discrimination claims before the Missouri Commission on Human Rights. He has successfully represented clients in Missouri, United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri, and the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Michael graduated from the St. Louis University School of Law in 2014 with a concentration in Civil Litigation. While in law school, Michael was a member of the Moot Court Board and participated in the Legal Ethics and Professionalism Moot Court Competition hosted by Mercer University School of Law. In 2011, Michael received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Rhode Island with a major in philosophy and minor in political science.

In his free time, Michael enjoys spending time with his family and cheering on the New York Yankees and New York Islanders.
